👋 I’m Gordon.
I’m a registered general nurse with over 45 years of experience in healthcare. For the past 17 years, I’ve worked as a General Practice Nurse in a Prison Primary Care setting — where I often managed ear conditions, including blocked ears due to wax build-up and hearing loss.

As many of my clients will know, if your GP refers you for wax removal, there are often long waiting times, or the service isn’t available on the NHS at all. High street providers can be expensive, rushed, or impersonal.
👂 A Personal Approach to Ear Care
I’ve performed ear irrigation many times using standard NHS equipment, but recently I’ve advanced my skills even further. I trained with The Hearing Lab to offer the latest wax removal technique: microsuction.
This is a safe, gentle and precise alternative to traditional water irrigation, often recommended by audiologists and ENT specialists — and ideal for those with sensitive ears or complex needs.
However, I still use gentle irrigation when appropriate, ensuring I always choose the right method for your ears.
